Joseph Shamie, President of Delta Children made the announcement. "As a father and grandfather myself, I don't sleep at night unless I know babies are safe in our cribs. This initiative is an ongoing commitment on our part to educate parents nationwide on the importance of safe sleeping conditions for their children and to provide over $1,000,000 in cribs to families-in-need who cannot afford a safe one. It's core to our commitment to safety."

In recognition of SIDS Awareness Month, Delta Children has donated 235 new cribs and highchairs to HELP USA's nine locations nationwide. HELP USA is the leading national developer of housing services for the homeless and at risk populations in the country. The Safe Sleep Campaign educates parents and caregivers of infants and young children about safe sleeping conditions coupled with the generous donation of new cribs, which meet the latest safety standards.

Maria Cuomo Cole commented on the donation. "HELP USA has been dedicated to providing safe homes for homeless families since 1986. We are truly grateful to Delta Cribs for helping to further our mission through bringing Safe Sleep to the most vulnerable members of our community here in the Bronx and at our other sites across the country."

Delta Children made it their brand mission to help families nationwide provide safe sleep environments for their children. HELP USA will implement the distribution of the cribs on behalf of Delta Children.

quotes-firstOne email in particular caught my eye because it was from a company that is DOING SOMETHING to promote what they preach. This year alone, Delta Children will giveaway $1,000,000 worth of cribs to families in need as part of their Safe Sleep campaign . They have traveled the country, donating cribs to many—most of whom have been single teenage moms living in shelters or foster homes. This week, community leaders in Brooklyn, New York will find families in need and teach them about the importance of offering a safe place for babies to sleep. Delta Children will then donate 400 cribs to the children in this area."
